Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 27, 2026

Kindred (“we,” “us”) is a safety-first platform that connects people with vetted, real-world guides for companionship, mentorship, prayer, life skills, and community. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you provide when requesting a guide — your name, email, and phone number.
  • Request details such as the guide, focus, preferred time, and any note you write.
  • Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Basic usage data from our hosting provider to keep the service secure and reliable.

How we use it

  • To connect you with a guide and coordinate your session.
  • To process payments and send receipts (via Stripe).
  • To contact you about your request and for support.
  • To keep Kindred safe, including our vetting process.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what's needed with trusted service providers who help us operate:

  • Stripe — payments.
  • Web3Forms — delivering your request to our team.
  • JotForm — community and guide signup forms.
  • Vercel — hosting.
  • The guide you request, so they can coordinate with you.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing us. You can also decline to provide details, though that may limit your ability to request a guide.

Children

Kindred is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as Kindred grows. We'll update the date above when we do.
